The Modified Standard of Fees of Tigerair Taiwan will take effect from 28th, Octorber
Taking the adequacy of the current fees and charges into consideration, Tigerair Taiwan will adjust the pricing of fees for all fees and charges, and from October 28th, 2018, the new standard will apply to passenger departing.
Tigerair Taiwan will keep the current hand baggage requirements. Each passenger may only carry one piece of hand luggage (size less than 54cm x 38cm x 23cm (the aforementioned size includes the exterior parts of the luggage such as wheels and handles) and one personal belonging (such as handbags, computer bags, or duty-free goods). A total of two pieces may be hand-carried into the aircraft, and their total weight must not exceed 10 kg. If the hand luggage exceeds the weight limit and is not checked in at the airport check-in desk, the baggage must be checked in at the boarding gate and a fee will be charged per piece. Each piece will be charged NT$1,000.
From October 28th, 2018, Tigerair Taiwan will not provide the pre-purchased check-in service for checked luggages of 50 to 80 kg. The maximum pre-purchased check-in luggage per passenger will be 40 kg, and the overweght rate per kilogram which is to be charged will be reduced from NT$700 to NT$500. Toward passengers who purchase two or more Tigerair Taiwan flights simultaneously with transfer at Taoyuan International Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport, the current price of the tigerconnect flight transfer service provided by Tigerair Taiwan is NT$500 to 800 per person per time. From October 28th, 2018, Passengers departing will not be charged for this fee. Passengers who bought and paid for tigerconnect transit service may check in his/her luggage from departure point direction to the destination point and acquire the boarding pass of next point at the transfer counter of Taoyuan International Airport or Kaohsiung International Airport.
